CEI Fellowship for Writers in Residence<br />
The CEI Fellowship for Writers in Residence has been presented<br />
by the Central European Initiative in collaboration with<br />
the Slovene Writers’ Association since 2006 as part of the<br />
<strong>Vilenica</strong> Festival. The Fellowship seeks to encourage crossborder<br />
cooperation and promotion in the field of literature<br />
for young writers from Central European Initiative member<br />
states that are not members of the European Union. The<br />
Fellowship, which is endowed with a cash award of 5,000<br />
EUR, is intended to be used for a three-month residence in<br />
any CEI member state of the candidate’s choice. During this<br />
period, the author is expected to work on the project he or<br />
she indicated in the application form. The three shortlisted<br />
candidates are guests of the <strong>Vilenica</strong> Festival, with the<br />
recipient of the fellowship being announced at the opening<br />
ceremony.<br />

Pisateljska štipendija SEP<br />
Pisateljsko štipendijo SEP od leta 2006 podeljuje<br />
Srednjeevropska pobuda v sodelovanju z Društvom slovenskih<br />
pisateljev v okviru festivala <strong>Vilenica</strong>. Namenjena<br />
je spodbujanju meddržavnega sodelovanja in promocije<br />
na področju literature za mlade avtorje iz držav članic<br />
SEP, ki niso del Evropske unije. Štipendija v višini 5000<br />
EUR je namenjena trimesečnemu bivanju v kateri koli<br />
državi članici SEP po izbiri kandidata. V tem času naj bi<br />
avtor realiziral projekt, s katerim se je prijavil na razpis.<br />
Trije kandidati za štipendijo so gostje vileniškega festivala,<br />
dobitnika pa razglasimo na otvoritvi festivala.<br />
