Description<br />

Displays all IPv4 routes (accepted and rejected) advertised by<br />

the specified neighbor.<br />

Displays all accepted received IPv4 routes advertised by the<br />

specified neighbor. Routes displayed have passed inbound<br />

filtering.<br />

Displays a summary of the BGP route table that includes routes<br />

whose AS path matches the specified expression.<br />

Displays only the BGP configuration of the router.<br />

The output of all show commands can be limited by appending the following modifiers to<br />

the end of the command: | begin , | exclude , and | include . The<br />

include modifier limits output to lines that contain the specified text, the exclude modifier<br />

excludes any lines with the specified text, and the begin modifier displays the first line of<br />

output with the specified text and all lines thereafter.<br />

Description<br />

Displays general BGP events, such as sent/received message<br />

summaries, route processing actions, and results. Keepalive<br />

packets are not debugged with this command.<br />

Displays significant BGP events, such as neighbor state<br />

changes.<br />

Displays the same information as debug ip bgp, but limits<br />

messages to the specified direction.<br />

Displays BGP keepalive packets.<br />

Displays detailed information on BGP updates for all<br />

neighbors. The optional quiet keyword displays a one-line<br />

summary with information about BGP neighbor updates.<br />

The bgp log-neighbor-changes command can be issued to log state changes of a BGP<br />

neighbor. Refer to Log Neighbor Changes on page 19 for more information.<br />
