Article 3.10 Right of Inspection<br />
1. The student, on request, has the right to inspect his/her corrected work within a<br />
period of two weeks after the results of a written assessment have been made known,<br />
at a place <strong>and</strong> time determined by the course coordinator.<br />
2. The student who has undergone the assessment can go through the questions <strong>and</strong><br />
tasks of the relevant assessment during this inspection, <strong>and</strong>, in addition, see the<br />
norms on which the assessment had been based.<br />
Article 3.11 Exemptions<br />
The Board of Examiners can, on the request of a student, grant exemption from taking a<br />
test or other assessment, if the student provides satisfactory written proof that he/she:<br />
1. has already successfully completed a similar course at a university or higher college of<br />
higher professional education, which is equivalent in content <strong>and</strong> level;<br />
2. possesses sufficient knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills in relation to the relevant test or<br />
assessment by way of work or professional experience.<br />
Article 3.12 Determining <strong>and</strong> Publishing Results<br />
1. The Board of Examiners determines the st<strong>and</strong>ards for the assessment of each part of<br />
the examination.<br />
2. The examiner determines the provisional result of a written assessment within 15<br />
working days after the day on which the assessment took place, <strong>and</strong> provides the<br />
educational office with the data needed for the publication of the result to the<br />
student.<br />
3. After students have had the opportunity to inspect their corrected works, the definitive<br />
results will be determined <strong>and</strong> published to the student within 5 working days.<br />
Article 3.13 Fraud<br />
1. If the Board of Examiners ascertains that, in the course of any form of assessment, a<br />
student:<br />
• made use of illicit aids, texts or notes, or makes or made use of prohibited<br />
electronic aids or means of communication;<br />
• verbally or by means of gestures communicated or tried to communicate with a<br />
fellow student without the permission of a supervisor, examiner or member of<br />
the Board of Examiners;<br />
• copied or tried to copy or gave somebody the opportunity to copy;<br />
• deliberately misled or tried to mislead the, the examiner or the supervisor, with<br />
respect to the examination;<br />
• committed any other form of fraud, including plagiarism, then the Board of<br />
Examiners can declare the result of the relevant assessment failed for the student<br />
concerned.<br />
2. The Board of Examiners can furthermore take the following measures for the cases<br />
mentioned under point 1:<br />
• reprim<strong>and</strong>,<br />
• exclusion from (further) participation in one or more parts of the examination of<br />
the study programme for a period of at the most one year.
