Present: Tommy McGhee, Chairman; Roger Halvorson; David Stephens; Tim Lane;<br />
Jimmy Whitfield; Mike Dodson; Gary Crouch; Richard Goad; also present: Greg<br />
Hearn, CFO<br />
GFC reviewed report of church and clergy tithes.<br />
Motion: That the CFO review and discuss the Quarterly Budget Report by Division<br />
with the Executive Directors of each Division. Seconded. Passed.<br />
Discussion of request by EVUSA to grant severance to Rick Fountain.<br />
Motion: That the request for severance for Mr. Fountain be denied based<br />
on the present termination policy. Seconded. Passed.<br />
Discussion of request of Discipleship Ministries to re-grade the position for which<br />
Tracy Todd has been hired.<br />
Motion: That the GFC approve the request that Tracy Todd be hired at<br />
Grade 5, Step 1. Seconded. Passed.<br />
Discussion of request by People to People to hire a person to fill position vacated<br />
by Myra Watkins when she filled the position then held by Jana Delano, though<br />
this was not included in the approved 2010 budget.<br />
Motion: The GFC table the PtP request to hire another person until the CFO<br />
has met with the Executive Director of WMM and the Director of PtP to discuss<br />
the Quarterly Budget Report by Division. Seconded. Passed<br />
The GFC reviewed and edited the Planning and Budgetary Committee (henceforth<br />
to be General Finance Committee) Policies and Procedures Manual.<br />
