Union in 2006, five years after its implementation. Specifically they emphasised
the need for effective operational contacts, liaison mechanisms and
cooperation between adjacent regions. Parliamentarians can help promote
and reinforce regional cooperation through their networks and parliamentary
workshops.

development of National Action Plans in several African states, and have
published a report entitled Resolving Small Arms Proliferation: The Development

The report outlines the key principles of the mapping approach, details
