OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS<br />
Doctor’s <strong>unit</strong><br />
Spray on/off switch<br />
▪ This is the switch for turning on and off<br />
handpiece cooling spray.<br />
When the handpiece is picked up and this switch<br />
is pressed, the LED on the A si<strong>de</strong> (air) or W si<strong>de</strong><br />
(water) goes on, indicating the selected function.<br />
▪ If the electric scaler is used, only the water<br />
(W-si<strong>de</strong> LED) goes on or off, regardless of the<br />
mo<strong>de</strong>, when this switch is pressed.<br />
▪ 2-mo<strong>de</strong> operation and 4-mo<strong>de</strong> operation can be<br />
selected by mo<strong>de</strong> change-over setting.<br />
▪ When this switch is pressed in 2-mo<strong>de</strong> operation,<br />
spray ON/OFF is changed.<br />
▪ In 4-mo<strong>de</strong> operation, spray ON/OFF, water only<br />
and air only are changed when this switch is<br />
pressed.<br />

When handpiece light is "On"<br />
(LED lamp is lit in green.)<br />
Handpiece light switch<br />
▪ This switch turns On and Off the handpiece light.<br />
Every press of the switch alternates between On<br />
and Off.<br />

Micromotor forward/reverse switch<br />
▪ This switch changes the rotational direction of<br />
the micromotor. Every press of the switch<br />
changes the forward (clockwise) rotation and<br />
reverse (counterclockwise) rotation.<br />
Immediately after the main switch is turned on,<br />
forward rotation is selected.<br />
* The rotational direction cannot be switched<br />
during rotation of the micromotor. Use the<br />
switch after the micromotor stops.<br />
