OPERATION SETTING<br />
Setting of the functions exclusive to DA-800M (NLX PLUS)<br />
• Setting of DA-800M (NLX PLUS) torque, automatic reverse, and automatic forward<br />
▪ The DA-800M (NLX PLUS) micromotor has<br />
functions of setting the torque at the low revolution<br />
range (100 to 5000 rpm), activating/<strong>de</strong>activating the<br />
automatic reversing and automatic forward.<br />
▪ The functions of setting torque, automatic reverse<br />
and automatic forward are exclusive to the<br />
DA-800M (NLX PLUS) micromotor.<br />

[Setting procedures]<br />
1. Remove DA-800M from the hol<strong>de</strong>r.<br />
2. Press the page feed button twice and select<br />

3. To change the set torque, select “Set torque” and<br />
press to <strong>de</strong>termine.<br />
4. Select inten<strong>de</strong>d setting with or and<br />
press to save. The torque is selectable within<br />
the range from 0.3 Ncm (minimum) to 3.0 Ncm<br />
(maximum).<br />
5. To activate/<strong>de</strong>activate automatic reverse or to set<br />
the automatic forward, select “Set automatic<br />
reverse” and press to <strong>de</strong>termine.<br />
6. Select inten<strong>de</strong>d setting with or and<br />
press to save.<br />
▪ Setting is stored in memory (M1 to M4).<br />

CAUTION<br />
Be sure to turn off the automatic reverse and switch the rotation direction using the micromotor<br />
forward/reverse switch when root canal therapy is performed using DA-800M with a left-han<strong>de</strong>d<br />
screw-shaped file. Use with the automatic reverse on may cause fracture of files.<br />
