OPERATION STOPPING FUNCTION<br />
• Chair operation stopping function<br />
When any switch in the<br />
dotted line frame is<br />
pressed during automatic<br />
operation, chair operation<br />
stops.<br />
▪ The safety mechanism for stopping chair<br />
operation is activated in the following cases.<br />
1. When the foot controller pedal is stepped on.<br />
2. When the spittoon bowl is turning toward the<br />
patient (Automatic operation and manual<br />
upward movement stop.)<br />
* In some cases, other display functions may<br />
give information. Be sure to read page 37.<br />
• Handpiece rotation stopping function<br />
▪ The handpiece does not rotate if it is removed<br />
from the hol<strong>de</strong>r un<strong>de</strong>r the condition where you<br />
step on the foot controller pedal. At this time, the<br />
message shown on the left is displayed on the<br />
indicator, showing that the safety mechanism is<br />
activated. Be sure to pick up the handpiece first<br />
and then step on the foot controller pedal.<br />
• Numbers and locations to indicate safety<br />
functions<br />
▪ When the safety mechanism is activated, the<br />
position where the safety switch is activated is<br />
displayed on the indicator.<br />
