• Operation and display of micromotor<br />
(i) Explanation and operation of micromotor<br />
rotation mo<strong>de</strong>s<br />
▪ When the main switch is turned on and the<br />
micromotor is removed from the hol<strong>de</strong>r, the<br />
rotation mo<strong>de</strong> is displayed on the indicator.<br />
▪ Four rotation mo<strong>de</strong>s of the micromotor may be<br />
selected from memory. Every press of<br />
changes the mo<strong>de</strong> in the or<strong>de</strong>r of M1, M2, M3<br />
and M4.<br />
▪ The Va and Fix rotation mo<strong>de</strong>s can be selected.<br />
Va (Variable)<br />
The rotational speed of the micromotor may be<br />
varied up to the selected upper limit by sliding<br />
the foot controller pedal horizontally. The<br />
rotational speed range differs with the<br />
micromotor types.<br />
Fix<br />
The rotational speed varied by sliding the foot<br />
controller pedal is fixed. The speed may be<br />
changed up to the upper limit displayed on the<br />
indicator by stepping on the pedal.<br />

(ii) Setting of the quantity of water injected<br />
▪ Increase or <strong>de</strong>crease the water feed quantity with<br />
and .<br />
▪ The water feed quantity increases or <strong>de</strong>creases in<br />
three steps in the or<strong>de</strong>r of .<br />
▪ When the handpiece is returned to the hol<strong>de</strong>r, the<br />
water feeding quantity is reset to (MAX).<br />
