• Cleaning of the solid collector<br />

▪ Detach and wash the filter in the solid collector<br />
of the Cuspidor <strong>unit</strong> at the end of each work day.<br />
▪ If sucked substances are collected, the suction<br />
force of the vacuum is reduced.<br />
▪ When the cap is removed and the bar is pulled,<br />
the filter is also drawn out with the bar. The filter<br />
only may be <strong>de</strong>tached when the filter is turned.<br />
• Cleaning spittoon <strong>unit</strong><br />

▪ Use ORTLO PLUS ma<strong>de</strong> by Durr to clean the<br />
spittoon bowl.<br />
▪ The spittoon bowl (1) may be <strong>de</strong>tached and<br />
washed in running water. Turn it in the direction<br />
of the arrow and lift it to <strong>de</strong>tach. After attaching<br />
the spittoon bowl, make sure that it is attached<br />
firmly before using it.<br />
* Be sure to turn off the main switch or <strong>de</strong>activate<br />
the weight sensing type cup water feed sensor<br />
before <strong>de</strong>taching the spittoon bowl or water feed<br />
cup tray (2). See page 36 for the sensor disabled<br />
mo<strong>de</strong>.<br />
▪ The dust filter (3) in the spittoon bowl is easily<br />
clogged. Clean it at the end of each work day.<br />
CAUTION<br />
• Never use sandpaper, metal scrub brushes and abrasive cleaning agents to clean the bowel.<br />
• Do not use strongly acidic cleaning agents or alkaline pipe cleaning agents, which may cause corrosion<br />
of metals, etc.<br />
• Turn off the main switch when mating/unmating the spittoon bowl or cup filler tray. Otherwise,<br />
response to hands or objects during mating/unmating may produce discharge of water, including bowl<br />
rinse water, leading to rusting of metals.<br />
• The spittoon bowl is ma<strong>de</strong> of glass. It may break if it is impacted.<br />
Do not wash it with hot water. Otherwise, it may break.<br />
• The spittoon bowl may be <strong>de</strong>tached easily. Be careful not to apply unnecessary force to it when<br />
cleaning. (Be careful not to hit or drop it.)<br />
• If the safety switch is <strong>de</strong>fective, the chair may move up and the spittoon bowl may break, even though<br />
the spittoon bowl is rotating. Stop using and contact the <strong>de</strong>aler or our company if the chair moves un<strong>de</strong>r<br />
the condition where the spittoon bowl is rotating.<br />
