SAFETY PRECAUTIONS<br />

1. Troubleshooting and contact information<br />

NOTICE<br />

In the case of any problems, discontinue use, turn off the main switch and contact the <strong>de</strong>aler or our company.<br />

2. Check operation of the compressor<br />

With no air supplied, this product does not operate even after turning on the main switch. Turn on the power of the<br />

compressor before operating this product.<br />

3. Use the turbine with a water check valve<br />

Use the turbine with a water check valve. Contact the <strong>de</strong>aler or our company when a turbine without a water check valve<br />

will be used.<br />

4. Handling of equipment in the case of a power failure<br />

Put the handpiece in the hol<strong>de</strong>r and turn off the main switch if equipment stops working during use due to a power failure or<br />

other reasons.<br />

5. Use in limited areas<br />

This product is inten<strong>de</strong>d for use in Japan and therefore cannot be used outsi<strong>de</strong> Japan.<br />

6. Use of flow rate adjustment knobs<br />

Flow rate adjustment knobs for water and air are inten<strong>de</strong>d to increase/<strong>de</strong>crease the flow rate, but do not serve as stop valves.<br />

Caution should be exercised as tuning the knob excessively may cause it to turn free.<br />

7. Keep in mind the precautions contained in the “Safety Notebook”<br />

Before use, carefully read the accompanying “Safety Notebook,” which contains the precautions common to <strong>de</strong>ntal <strong>unit</strong>s.<br />

8. Use cups weighing 3 g or more<br />

Use “<strong>de</strong>ntal paper cups” or “<strong>de</strong>ntal stainless steel cups” weighing 3 g or more. Do not use cups weighing less than 3 g, to<br />

which the weight-sensing cup filling sensor may not respond.<br />

9. Check the position of the spittoon bowl<br />

Confirm whether the spittoon bowl is positioned so that the safety switch is released.<br />

If the spittoon bowl is positioned to interfere with the chair, it should be moved to a position where the safety switch is<br />

released.<br />
