Nut<br />
Nozzle<br />
▪ The nozzle may be sterilized in an autoclave (for 20<br />
minutes at 121°C or 12 minutes at 132°C). Remove<br />
residues and clean carefully with running water before<br />
sterilization.<br />
▪ Be sure to put into a sterilization pouch when sterilizing. The<br />
allowable sterilization frequency in an autoclave is 250 times.<br />
(Standard of handpiece for <strong>de</strong>ntal use JIS T 5906:01)<br />
The nut may be removed from the syringe by turning it in<br />
direction A. Apply Vaseline thinly and evenly to the two<br />
O-rings after sterilization. Tighten the nut firmly in direction B<br />
to undo the nozzle.<br />
Before use, make sure that the nut is firmly tightened.<br />

▪ Nozzle (1) and body cover (2) may be sterilized in an<br />
autoclave (for 20 minutes at 121°C or 12 minutes at 132°C).<br />

▪ The body cover is ma<strong>de</strong> of resin and may become<br />
<strong>de</strong>teriorated if it is sterilized in an autoclave many times.<br />

▪ After autoclave sterilization, the body cover is subject to<br />
discoloration, which does not have a negative effect on<br />
performance.<br />
▪ The nozzle may be <strong>de</strong>tached by turning the nut (3) in<br />
direction A. The body cover may be <strong>de</strong>tached by pulling it in<br />
direction C while pressing the button (4).<br />
▪ Apply Vaseline thinly and evenly to two O-rings of the<br />
nozzle after sterilization and turn the nut (3) firmly in<br />
direction B.<br />
Before use, make sure that the nut is firmly tightened.<br />
