3) Public Water<br />

7.21 Sanitary Sewer<br />

a) Where appropriate, water mains shall be installed so as to provide individual<br />

service to each lot within the subdivision.<br />

b) Watermains shall extend to the boundary of the subdivision, except where in<br />

the opinion of the Planning and Zoning Commission it is deemed impractical.<br />

c) A rural water supply shall comply with the requirements of the State of <strong>North</strong><br />

<strong>Dakota</strong>.<br />

1) All subdivisions shall be provided with sanitary sewers to each lot. On an individual<br />

case review, an on-site sewage systems may be allowed.<br />

2) Sanitary sewer shall be extended to the boundary of the subdivision, except where in<br />

the opinion of the Planning and Zoning Commission it is deemed impractical.<br />

3) All sanitary systems shall be reviewed and approved by county sanitarian or Health<br />

District.<br />

7.22 Storm Sewer<br />

The storm sewer drainage facilities shall be installed in accordance with the plans and<br />

specifications approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission.<br />

7.23 Grading and Surfacing<br />

The full width of all rights-of-way shall be graded in accordance with the <strong>Stark</strong> <strong>County</strong><br />

street standards.<br />

7.24 Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalks<br />

Concrete curb and gutters, where appropriate, may be installed in all subdivisions in<br />

accordance with the county standards. Where the county requires construction of a<br />

sidewalk, it shall be in accordance with the design standards established by the Planning and<br />

Zoning Commission.<br />

7.25 Installation of Improvements<br />

Construction of all improvements is contingent on approval by the Planning and Zoning<br />

Commission. The subdivider shall be responsible for furnishing the necessary data required<br />

for such approval.<br />
