This Result covers the safety of the road network, public
transport and waterways. The Result is broader than just
the safety of transport; it is also about the security of the
transport system.
The impact of transport on the environment
is minimised
We promote a transport system that meets our present social
and economic needs without compromising the quality of life
of future generations. An important part of this is minimising
the impact of transport on our natural environment now,
and into the future.
