The level of productivity, in turn, sets the sustainable level of
prosperity that can be earned by an economy. In other words,
more competitive economies tend to be able to produce
higher levels of income for their citizens. The productivity level
also determines the rates of return obtained by investments in
an economy.
Personal Objectives
→ To encourage general dialogue and discussion on
productivity and competitiveness and their importance to
national development
→ To encourage concerted and collaborative approaches
to research and policy development on productivity and
competitiveness
→ To encourage enterprises and agencies to begin a
process of implementation of methods and systems to
realize higher levels of productivity and competitiveness
→ To encourage a process of expenditure and distribution of
reward based on productivity and performance
