Find the Funny Enterprises was founded in 2001
by Julie Ostro. She is trained in improvisational
acting at The Second City in Chicago, and has
more than 15 years of marketing and public
speaking experience. Julie’s enthusiasm and
passionate spirit – combined with her comedic
insight – make her an engaging speaker. Her
personal motto “find the funny” helps her to
find humor in everyday moments and in life’s
seemingly difficult situation.
Ray Swenson holds a Master’s degree in History,
and has taught at RVC 4 years. This class provides
focused examination of the Holocaust time period
– to expand knowledge of this tragic event.
The Final Solution and the Holocaust
(HS Adult) A seminar and film presentation of the
history of Jewish people and the Holocaust during
WWII. Goal is to enlighten and educate about the
Holocaust and stimulate continued interest in history.
Recommended book: “A History of the Holocaust”.
