will be cancelled one week prior to start date. Don’t take a
chance. Your class may be cancelled.
Age Appropriate Guideline: Community Education classes are
designed for students of all ages. Age guidelines are stated with
each class. Classes designated as ADULT are intended for students
18 years and older. With INSTRUCTOR PERMISSION, high school
students may attend adult classes. Students 16-17 years old may be
the chief executive officers (or designees) of the high school districts
in which the student resides. Call (815) 921-3900 for information.
Out-of-District/Out-of-State Students: In addition to the regular
tuition and service fee, students residing outside District 511 will be
charged out-of-district/state fees for credit courses. These additional
fees will be waived if a student living outside the district/state is
employed full-time within the district and able to present a letter from
the employer testifying to that fact. Property owners paying taxes to
District 511 are also eligible for in-district rates. No out-of-district/state
fees are charged for non-credit courses.
