Structural Engineer. Responsible for structural engineering design, calculations, review, and overview work for the<br />
GEC Contract. Also utilized on various occasions to inspect damaged buildings due to vehicular impact and was available<br />
on short notice for inspections to facilities, serving as on-site supervisor of shoring teams when shoring was immediately<br />
required in order to re-open toll lanes. This GEC contract involves functioning as an extension of FDOT staff by<br />
providing qualified technical and professional personnel for program management, including support for a broad range<br />
of services such as operations, finance, planning, tolls, environmental management; project management, utilities and<br />
rail relocation, right-of-way, and construction engineering and maintenance management. In addition, ongoing<br />
program management support is being provided for FDOT’s capacity improvement and modernization program.<br />

Structural Engineer. Played a key role in the structural design work and construction administration phase of the<br />
project, which includes the design of a total of eight buildings: one large TEMF (78,700 gsf), one medium TEMF<br />
(35,300 gsf), and six additional support facilities (13,000-gsf compact item repair shop, 4,200-gsf engine and<br />
transmission testing facility, 24,500-gsf paint and prep shop, 1,700-gsf bead blast facility, JP8 fuel dispensing facilities,<br />
and several petroleum, oil, and lubricant [POL] and Hazmat buildings). All facilities were designed to provide a 25-year<br />
useful life prior to requiring renovations, as well as a 50-year building replacement life. As a value-added feature, site<br />
infrastructure and related site improvements in support of the repair shop mission have been designed to provide the<br />
minimum 50-year maintenance and repair life cycle industry standard.<br />

Structural Engineer-of-Record. Performed complete structural design and calculations for a new tennis center,<br />
gymnasium, and restaurant. This project for the City of North Miami Beach included a new 15,000-sf clubhouse/retail<br />
building as an entry feature that sets the tone for the entire tennis center. The clubhouse and its immediate<br />
surroundings include a tennis pro shop, small lounge/food café, retail space, locker room facilities, small office area,<br />
outdoor terrace, and an arbor for shaded seating.<br />
