The Radio City Music Hall had its shortest run of the year, two weeks for "The Happy Time," which was mild in its second week, and the Roxy also had its shortest run, only ten days, for "Way of a Gaucho," which was succeeded November 14 by "Bloodhounds of Broadway," the last film before the house closes for a few weeks to reopen before Christma.3 with a spectacular ice show and film policy. "This Is Cinerama" continued to absolute capacity in its sixth week of two-a-day showings at the Broadway Theatre, where tickets aj'e selling into April 1953. Two of the east side houses were doing sensational business. "The Promoter" set a new house record for the second successive week at the Pine Arts Theatre, and "Limelight" did virtual capacity business for its third week of two-a-day at the Trans-Lux 60th. "Limelight" also did well in its third week of continuous performances at the Astor, even better than the second week. "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" held up well in its eighth week at the Rivoli. Most of the others were mild. In addition to "Plymouth Adventure" at the Music Hall and "Bloodhounds of Broad- BREAKING B.O. RECORDS if All New! Here you see the reproduction of o split aperture test between CENTURY projectors and ordinary projectors. The CENTURY half of fhe screen proves CENTURY'S superiority— it's alive and it sparkles. The other half of the screen (an ordinary proiector) is dull and uninteresting. Make this test in your own theatre and be convinced—change to CENTURY projectors for bigger box office returns. CENTURY proiectors were the choice for Cinerama, the new spectacular "3 dimensional" motion pictures. You have much to gain by using CENTURY Projection and Sound.
