DALTjAS—Actress Joan Crawford was feted by Texas theatremen at a testimonial banquet here Wednesday (5) in appreciation for the appeal she made on Texas screens late last summer, which resulted in collections totaling $235,655 for the Gonzales Warm Springs Foundation for Crippled Children. Robert J. O'Donnell, acting in behalf of Texas COMPO and the foundation, gave Miss Crawford a plaque for her part in making the screen trailer appeal.
