Co-chairmen were W. Hardy Hendren, president of United, and C. J. Mabry, president of MPA. They announced that their associated companies will make a total of 1,100 separate Screenbroadcast advertising productions, not including films specially produced for motion picture or television use. Executives studied the results of extensive questionnaires which had been sent to customers of United Film Service during the past year. Clients using the advertising films produced by the associated companies were asked to assist in planning the production program for the next year. Hendren said United's clients had responded enthusiastically and appreciated the chance to state their opinions, as well as discuss the results gained from screen advertising. United and MPA personnel attending the production meeting, in addition to Hendren and Mabry, included Robert W. Dyer, Reese Wade, Abby Coguenhem, C. W. Johnson, Marie Berglund, Bill Scrogin and Jim Berglund. Takes Over Film Deal CHARLOTTE—H. G. Arenson of H. G.
