3.2 Special Characters<br />
In <strong>iManager</strong>, some characters have special significance and must be escaped with the backslash (\)<br />
character:<br />
NDAP (eDirectory):<br />
• Period (.)<br />
• Equal sign (=)<br />
• Plus sign (+)<br />
• Backslash (\)<br />
LDAP:<br />
• Distinguished names (DNs) and = + \ @; < ><br />
• Leading #<br />
• Leading or trailing spaces<br />
