Mumtaz Khan, Board Member, <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 61.<br />
Mumtaz Khan was appointed as a Member of the Board<br />
of Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2006. He is the<br />
Founder and CEO of Middle East & Asia Capital Partners a<br />
Singapore based private equity platform connecting the<br />
Middle East and Asia. He was until December 2007, the<br />
Chairman and CEO of EMP Bahrain the general partner<br />
and Manager of the US$ 730 million Islamic Development<br />
Bank Infrastructure Fund. Mr. Khan was previously a<br />
Managing Director at EMP Global in Washington, D.C.<br />
For three years, he was based in Hong Kong as Resident<br />
Partner and Manager of Asian operations of the US$ 1<br />
billion AIG Asian Infrastructure Fund. Prior to that, Mr.<br />
Khan was for 13 years with IFC, where he was a Manager<br />
in the Asia Department based in Washington, D.C. and<br />
Resident Representative based in Jakarta, responsible<br />
for investment in Indonesia and Malaysia. Mr. Khan<br />
initiated IFC’s investment programme in China. Mr. Khan<br />
is a founder shareholder of the Islamic Bank of Asia in<br />
Singapore.<br />
Mustafa Kalender, Board Member, 45.<br />
Mustafa Kalender was appointed as a Member of the<br />
Board of Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2005.<br />
Graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration,<br />
Anadolu University in 1987, Kalender joined the Tepe<br />
Group in 1988 and served as the Financial Affairs<br />
Manager. He currently serves as the Assistant General<br />
Manager of Financial Affairs and a Member of the Board<br />
of Directors at Tepe Construction. Kalender is also a<br />
Member of the Board of Directors at various Tepe Group<br />
companies.<br />
Pierre de Champfleury, Board Member,<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 63.<br />
Pierre de Champfleury was appointed as an Independent<br />
Member of the Board of Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding<br />
in 2007 and is also a Member of the Audit Committee.<br />
Graduated from Paris Ecole des Hautes Etudes<br />
Commerciales in Paris in 1967, Champfleury earned his<br />
MBA degree from Stanford University in 1971. Beginning<br />
his 30-year career in luxury goods at Eli Lilly, he served as<br />
the CEO of various companies such as Yves Saint Laurent<br />
Parfums, Austin Nichols and Co. and Manuel Canovas.<br />
* Şeref Eren, who served as a Consultant to the <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding CEO,<br />
was appointed as a Consultant to the <strong>TAV</strong> Academy in January 2009.<br />
Shailesh Kumar Dash, Board Member,<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 39.<br />
Shailesh Kumar Dash was appointed as a Member of the<br />
Board of Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2006 and is<br />
currently serving as the Managing Partner at Global Capital<br />
Management Ltd. (GCML) which is a 100% subsidiary of<br />
Global Investment House (Global) and has over US$ 3 billion<br />
under management in the Private Equity space. He also<br />
heads the Alternative Investments Dept. at Global, with<br />
over US$ 3.6 billion assets under management. He has over<br />
14 years of experience in fund management, IB, research<br />
and corporate finance. He was the founder member of<br />
the Private Equity team at Global and has over six years<br />
experience in Private Equity. Apart from forming the PE<br />
group at Global he has been instrumental in establishing<br />
the pan-GCC research group as well. His views are widely<br />
quoted in regional and international journals. He is a postgraduate<br />
in Business Management from the FORE School<br />
of Management and a member of the CFA Institute and<br />
ABANA Arab Bankers Association for North America.<br />
Süleyman Son, Board Member, <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 61.<br />
Süleyman Son was appointed as a Member of the Board of<br />
Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2006. Graduated from<br />
the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Middle East<br />
Technical University, Son currently serves as the General<br />
Manager and a Member of the Board of Directors of Tepe<br />
Construction. Previously, he worked as the Assistant General<br />
Manager of Business Development at the same company.<br />
Beginning his career as a Chief Engineer at Türkiye Elektrik<br />
A.Ş. in 1971, Son served at various companies and project<br />
teams.<br />
Şeref Eren*, Board Member and Consultant to the CEO,<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 58.<br />
Şeref Eren was appointed as a Member of the Board of<br />
Directors of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2006, and is also a<br />
Member of the Audit Committee. Graduated from the<br />
Department of Economics- Business Administration<br />
at the Faculty of Economics, İstanbul University in<br />
1974, Eren completed his Business Administration<br />
Specialization education at the Institute of Management<br />
Economics, İstanbul University, in 1975. Beginning<br />
his career as an assistant in the Faculty of Business<br />
Administration at İstanbul University, he served in<br />
senior management positions at various private sector<br />
companies. Eren joined <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 1998<br />
and served as the Financial and Administrative Affairs<br />
Manager and Vice Chairman. Eren was appointed as the<br />
Consultant to the CEO in 2007.
