A new bridge between<br />
Turkey and Tunisia<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding is planning to commence service at<br />
the Enfidha Zine El Abidine Ben Ali International Airport<br />
in 2009. Currently under construction, the Enfidha Zine El<br />
Abidine Ben Ali International Airport will be operated by<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Tunisie SA until May 2047.<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports is planning to transform the Enfidha Zine El<br />
Abidine Ben Ali International Airport into one of the most<br />
important flight centers in Africa. Located 60 kilometers<br />
from the Monastir Habib Bourguiba International<br />
Airport, the Enfidha Zine El Abidine Ben Ali International<br />
Airport will initially have an annual passenger capacity<br />
of seven million. Passenger capacity will progressively<br />
reach 22 million after four stages of work are completed<br />
throughout the duration of operation.<br />

• With the Enfidha Zine El Abidine Ben Ali International<br />
Airport currently under construction, <strong>TAV</strong> Tunisie was<br />
granted the “Developer of the Year” award at the<br />
“Infrastructure Awards 2008” ceremony by Africa<br />
Investor, a company that provides primary data sources<br />
to governments and the private sector on investments<br />
undertaken in Africa. In the same competition, <strong>TAV</strong><br />
Tunisie and <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding were finalists in the<br />
categories of “Public-Private Champion of the Year” and<br />
“Sponsor of the Year” respectively.<br />
• With its financing model, <strong>TAV</strong> Tunisie won the “Deal of<br />
the Year 2008 - Project Finance of the Year” award from<br />
Euromoney Project Finance magazine.<br />
The airport will be built on an area covering 4,300<br />
hectares, and the terminal building in the first stage will<br />
encompass 90,000 square meters. The Enfidha Zine El<br />
Abidine Ben Ali International Airport project consists<br />
of a new terminal building with an outdoor parking<br />
area, a runway, apron and taxi routes, as well as service<br />
buildings. <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding group companies (e.g.<br />
ATU, BTA, Havas, <strong>TAV</strong> O&M) also plan on operating at the<br />
Enfidha Zine El Abidine Ben Ali International Airport.<br />
