<strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> at Passenger Terminal Expo 2008<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> participated in the Passenger Terminal Expo 2008,<br />
the largest International Airport Terminals Trade Fair<br />
in Europe that was held in Amsterdam, the capital of<br />
Netherlands, on April 15-17, 2008.<br />
At the expo, <strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> promoted the system that it has<br />
successfully implemented in a project covering 20 airports.<br />
This system allows many airports to be managed centrally<br />
from a single point and makes airport integration a<br />
possibility for the first time. This trade fair, where <strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong><br />
presented its integrated information technology solutions,<br />
was attended by the senior executives of experienced<br />
companies in airport and airline operations from around the<br />
world.<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding at Airex Expo<br />
The Airex 2008 International Civil Aviation and Airports<br />
Exposition was held on June 12-15, 2008 under the main<br />
sponsorship of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding. Organized for the<br />
seventh time in 2008, the Airex 2008 International Civil<br />
Aviation and Airports Exposition was attended by 140<br />
companies, including airport operators, airline companies<br />
and technology providers.<br />
Flight control systems, simulators, cargo-baggage system<br />
equipment, apron and terminal systems, airport security<br />
and integration systems and other products equipped<br />
with new technologies that are of interest to all aircraft,<br />
from commercial aircraft to business jets and helicopters,<br />
were promoted at the trade fair that was held at İstanbul<br />
Atatürk Airport’s General Aviation Apron. Visitors also had<br />
the opportunity to view and obtain information on about<br />
40 aircraft consisting of private jets and small airplanes.<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> at Passenger Terminal Expo 2008 Middle East<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> continued its promotional road show for reaching<br />
new customers in 2008 with the Passenger Terminal Expo<br />
2008. The Middle East leg of the Passenger Terminal Expo,<br />
the largest international airport exhibitions chain in the<br />
world, was held on November 16-18, 2008, in Abu Dhabi.<br />
<strong>TAV</strong> <strong>IT</strong> promoted its aviation solutions to airport operators<br />
primarily in the Middle East, as well as from around the<br />
globe.
