<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding added yet another site to its airport<br />

projects abroad with the Monastir Habib Bourguiba<br />

International Airport, located in Tunisia, the tourism<br />

center of North Africa. It began operations on January<br />

1, 2008. The Company will operate the Monastir Habib<br />

Bourguiba Airport for 40 years.<br />

Located only two hours away from many capitals in<br />

Europe, Tunisia’s Monastir Habib Bourguiba International<br />

Airport catered to 4.2 million international passengers in<br />

2008, although its passenger capacity is 3.5 million. In<br />

2008, approximately 33,000 flights landed in and took<br />

off from the Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport. Its cargo<br />

capacity reached 900 tons. Monastir Habib Bourguiba<br />

International Airport has a terminal usage area of 28,000<br />

square meters, and a seating area of 18,000 square<br />

meters.<br />
