Altuğ Koraltan, Internal Audit Director,<br />

<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 46.<br />

Altuğ Koraltan was appointed as the Internal Audit<br />

Director of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2007. Graduated from<br />

the Department of Business Administration, İstanbul<br />

University in 1986, Koraltan began his career as an<br />

External Auditor at Peat Marwick& Mitchell between<br />

1986-1988. He served as a sales representative at the<br />

Baghdad office of ENKA Marketing. Working at Effemex-<br />

Mars as a Finance Manager in 1990, Koraltan served<br />

as Internal Auditor, Securities Department Assistant<br />

Manager and Dealer at the foreign exchange desk of<br />

the Treasury Department at Ottoman Bank during the<br />

following five years. Serving on the Audit Board of OYAK<br />

Bank for a one-year term in 1997, Koraltan was the head<br />

of Internal Audit in charge of Turkey and Greece at ABN<br />

AMRO Bank for ten years, from 1997 to 2007, before<br />

joining <strong>TAV</strong> Airports.<br />

Murat Örnekol, Operations Director,<br />

<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 50.<br />

Murat Örnekol was appointed as the Operations Director<br />

of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2008. Graduated from the<br />

Department of Industrial Engineering, Middle East<br />

Technical University in 1980, Örnekol served as the<br />

General Manager of <strong>TAV</strong> Esenboga between 2006 and<br />

2008. Before joining <strong>TAV</strong> Airports, Örnekol worked for<br />

Beretta Holding as the General Manager between 2000<br />

and 2006 and from 1991 to 2000 served as Deputy CEO<br />

of Bayındır Holding Co., President of Health Care Division,<br />

Director of Telecom Project , Logistics and Business<br />

Development Coordinator at Bayındır Group. In his early<br />

career, Örnekol worked as General Manager at Bordata,<br />

an <strong>IT</strong> company and as Planning Engineer, <strong>IT</strong> Manager and<br />

Trade Manager at Kutlutaş Holding.<br />

Waleed Ahmed Youssef, Strategy Director,<br />

<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 43.<br />

Waleed Youssef was appointed as the Strategy Director<br />

of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2008. A graduate of the<br />

Department of Civil Engineering at the University of<br />

California at Berkeley, Dr. Youssef subsequently earned<br />

his Masters degree in transportation economics and<br />

Ph.D. degree in air transport finance from Berkeley.<br />

Prior to joining <strong>TAV</strong> Airports, he served as Strategy and<br />

Development Director at Abu Dhabi Airports Company,<br />

and as Aviation Specialist at the International Finance<br />

Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World<br />

Bank Group. Dr. Youssef has vast experience in airport<br />

privatization, including successful transactions in<br />

JFK Terminal 4 (USA), Brisbane International Airport<br />

(Australia) and Bangalore International Airport<br />

(India). During his tenure at the IFC, Youssef served<br />

as privatization advisor to the governments of Jordan<br />

(Amman), Saudi Arabia (Hajj Terminal), Madagascar<br />

(Antananarivo), Nigeria (Abuja) and Panama (Howard). In<br />

Abu Dhabi, he led the corporatization and certification of<br />

its two airports (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain). Dr. Youssef is the<br />

incoming Chairman of the Airports Council International<br />

(ACI) World Economics Standing Committee and a<br />

Member of the Committee on Airfield and Airspace<br />

Capacity and Delay at the US National Academy of<br />

Sciences’ Transportation Research Board.<br />

Haluk Bilgi, Country Director of <strong>TAV</strong> Tunisie and Business<br />

Development Director (Subsidiaries),<br />

<strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding, 40.<br />

Haluk Bilgi was appointed as the Business Development<br />

Director (Subsidiaries) of <strong>TAV</strong> Airports Holding in 2008<br />

and also serves as the <strong>TAV</strong> Tunisie Country Director.<br />

Graduated from Department of Economics at the<br />

Faculty of Economics, İstanbul University in 1992, Bilgi<br />

received his MBA degree from the Middle East Technical<br />

University in 1999, and attended the Harvard Business<br />

School Structuring Effective Private Equity Partnership<br />

Program in the same year. Beginning his career as a<br />

Foreign Relations Specialist at BBBAG A.Ş. in 1991, Bilgi<br />

assumed his first position abroad in 1993 with Sibkon<br />

A.Ş. in Novokuznetks, Siberia. He joined the Tepe Group<br />

in 1995, and served as a Senior Executive in the Russian<br />

Federation, England, U.S.A. and Iraq, respectively, at<br />

Tepe Group and its international subsidiaries for the<br />

next ten years. Before joining <strong>TAV</strong> Airports as Business<br />

Development Group Manager in 2005, Bilgi served as the<br />

Business Development Coordinator at Tepe Construction<br />

and has served as a member of the American<br />

Management Association, Foreign Economic Relations<br />

Board Turkish American Business Council International<br />

Contracting Committee, Central Anatolia Exporters Union<br />

Board of Directors, and Global Ethics since 2001.
