In recent years, China, particularly Shanghai, has experienced tremendous growth in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Charles Rivers’ objective is to support these companies’ research and development needs by providing preclinical services. The unique challenges and opportunities of operating a GLP preclinical operation in China will be discussed.
