15 Related Party Transactions<br />
<strong>ARTA</strong> is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ARC.<br />
ARC provides funding to <strong>ARTA</strong> for operating activities and to purchase property, plant and equipment.<br />
The values of these transactions are disclosed in Note 1. Details of current and non-current payables and<br />
receivables from related parties are disclosed in notes 5 and 9.<br />
<strong>ARTA</strong> purchases from the ARC shared services in respect of information technology, treasury management,<br />
financial processing services and facilities services. The cost of these services is $2,685,061 for <strong>2009</strong> ($2,273,452<br />
for 2008).<br />
ARC also provides funding to <strong>ARTA</strong> in order for <strong>ARTA</strong> to fulfill its responsibilities under the grants assumed<br />
from Infrastructure <strong>Auckland</strong> as at 1 July 2004.<br />
No intercompany balances have been written off in the year.<br />
Other than the above transactions and using public transport, no directors, senior management or any<br />
entities related to them have entered into transactions with the organisation, other than those on normal<br />
business terms.<br />
16 Events after balance date<br />
There are no events after balance date for the year ended 30 June <strong>2009</strong> which would require noting or<br />
adjusting in these financial statements.<br />
There were no events after balance date for the year ended 30 June 2008 which required noting or adjusting<br />
in these financial statements.<br />
