ARTA in the community Every segment of our population has barriers to and opportunities for using public transport, cycling or walking. Some of the barriers may be real and others are perceived. ARTA commissioned a Colmar Brunton survey in 2006 on each segment – from school children to tertiary students, to families and retirees – to identify ways we can influence a sustainable change in behaviour around public transport. The results have continued to inform our actions in the community.
