ARTA is an Equal Opportunities Employer with an Employee Assistance Programme, a group healthcare
scheme through Southern Cross for permanent employees, a wellness programme, full health checks,
discount gym membership, an on-site café and social club, and strategies for enabling employees to find a
good balance between work and home.
The wellness programme supports involvement in corporate sports teams. ARTA, for example, has a joint
team with the ARC for the annual dragonboat race.
Performance and development
The key performance indicators within each employee development and performance management plan
are aligned throughout the organisation, right up to CEO level. This supports our one organisation policy
and gives employees a real sense of how their work integrates with ARTA’s wider goals.
Exceptional performance is rewarded at monthly staff forums. Run by and for staff, these mandatoryattendance
forums support learning development and an understanding of our business.
ARTA also allocates funding to job-specific training and career development.
