Appendix B: Performance Verification<br />

4. From the VM5000 application menu bar, select Configuration > Format<br />

panel, select 2048 x 1536 resolution and 85 Hz refresh rate (click OK in case<br />

a warning message pops up regarding this format selection).<br />

5. From the VM5000 application menu bar, select Configuration > Measurement<br />

> Clear All.<br />

6. From the VM5000 application menu bar, select Configuration > Measurement<br />

> Video Transient.<br />

7. From the VM5000 application menu bar, deselect (Disable) Configuration ><br />

Operations panel > Sync polarity > Auto Detect.<br />

8. From the VM5000 application menu bar, deselect (Disable) Configuration ><br />

Warnings > Pop Up Warning Details.<br />

9. On the AWG710B: Load the H sync test file and setup from the floppy drive<br />

as follows:<br />

Load the pvvidtranssetup.set setup file: Press buttons in the following<br />

sequence: setup (button) > Save/Restore (bottom) > restore setup (right) ><br />

drive (right) > floppy (center) > OK (right) > pvvidtranssetup.set (middle) ><br />

OK (right). Wait for file loading to complete.<br />

10. On the AWG710B: Generate a test signal by using the following steps:<br />

a. Press the CH1 button to enable signal output from Channel 1.<br />

b. Press the MARKER OUT button to enable signal output from MKR 1<br />

and /MKR 1.<br />

c. Press the Run button to start generating the signal.<br />

11. From the VM5000 application menu bar, run the Video Transient measurement.<br />

Click the Run button to take the measurement.<br />

12. Enter the results in Table B -14 and verify that the measured values are<br />

within the lower and upper limits.<br />

13. Move AWG710B CH1 output and min loss pad from MIU “G” to MIU “B”<br />
