<strong>Assessment</strong> <strong>and</strong> Monitoring<br />

The National Strategy <strong>and</strong> Action Plan for <strong>Biodiversity</strong> <strong>Conservation</strong> in the Republic <strong>of</strong> Moldova stipulate the<br />

priority activities for the protection <strong>of</strong> forest ecosystems <strong>and</strong> valuable species <strong>and</strong> communities, restoration <strong>of</strong><br />

ecological corridors, sustainable use <strong>of</strong> forest resources, staff training <strong>and</strong> public awareness.<br />
