Man-made rupiculous habitat exists in the form of a farm house and its surrounding outbuildings, disused cement dams, old farm worker accommodation and building rubble. A few quarries also provide additional rupiculous habitat. These man-made habitats are often islands in the sea of terrestrial habitat and have created excellent artificial habitat for many rupiculous reptile species. Figure 49.
