This plant community with its specific floristic composition is regarded as highly
sensitive. On the sensitivity map (Figures 5, 16 and 25). This plant community is
regarded as Aggeneys Gravel Vygieveld, which is regarded as a rare and threatened
ecosystem.
4. Bushmanland Inselberg Shrubveld
Mountains and hills occur scattered within the Bushmanland Sandy Grassland. These
mountains and hills are covered with the Bushmanland Inselberg Shrubveld, considered
as a rare vegetation type. These are described as a group of individual mountains and
hills towering over the surrounding flat plains in northern Bushmanland in the Aggeneys
and Pofadder regions.

This vegetation type as a whole is considered to be rare and highly sensitive, due to its
specific plant species composition.
