DISTRIBUTION DIVISION
The fi elds of' Sales and Advertising l'vla nagement in combination
vvith Business and Law, Marketing, and Economics, are examined
carefully by the student while in the Distribution Division.
The Sales and Advertising Management course acquaints the
student with the principal problems involved in sales and advertising
administration. This is pa rtly accomplished by student a ttendancc at
sales conferences and visits to advertising production plants.
\1arketing is the prime essential in the field of Distribution. The
:Vlarketing course is a survey of all the activities involved in the movcment
of' goods from production source to point of sale and consequent
usage. Frequent fi eld trips are made to obtain first-ha nd info rmation
on actual present-day m ethods.
Knovvlcdge of' business Ia", is pr('req uisite among business men.
The course in Business Law is a presentation of the fundamental law
of contracts as it affects thr rights, duties, and procedures of' business
men.
Economic problems are also studied thereby ('nabling the student
to acquire an economic a nd social change perspective. This vie\\ is
gained as a r('sult of curr('nt industrial and distributive problems investigated
as they emerge !'rom the seasonal, cyclica l, and secular
phcnomrna of' Ollr na ti onal r conomic life.
