BACKGROl.:ND
In September, 1~37, Trump (-'nte-red Dartmouth College,
where he pursued a liberal arts course. Prior to his
sophomore year, 1)(-' sp(-'nt a summer at a business school
in Milwaukee, where he studied typing and a course in
the ru;)damentals of corporation organization. He completed
his second year at Dartmouth and during the summer
months took several business courses at Milwaukee'
State Teachers College.
In September, 1939 hc entered Babson Institute to
obtain the businf'ss training necessary to qualify him ror ;l
position in Sales or Sales Promotion work.
PRACTICAL TRAIN IN(;
By working during the summer vacations, Trump has
had the opportunity to see the actual operations of
business. He worked in the factory ()f tl1(' Jf'w('tt and
Sherman Company, where he became acquainted with
Production routine.
His training- at Babson Institute' has been focused on
Sales and Advertising work. I-Ie analyzed the demand
for ;l consumer product in a statistical report and adjustf'd
tl1(' figures lor seasonal vocation.

Trump is known to the faculty and students as a hard
working, conscientious young man who always does his

More than anything- ("Ise, Trump enjoys m("cting
