Taylor was born in a small rural community III

prep school, he entered Princeton University and gracluatf'd
inJune, 1940, At Princeton he majored ill Geology,
His main interests, however, arc in the fIeld of commercial
Air Transportation. He decid('d to enter Babson

PRACTICAL TRAINING
In the summer of J 938, Taylor was a member of a
geological surv('y conducted by Princ('ton C niversity
which traveled throughout thf' Rocky Mountain regioll.
Tll(, following summer he was ten w('eks in ;\Tewfoundland
as a member of a survey party conducted by the
Geological Survey of ~evvfoundland. This training has
bef'n especially valuable in teaching him how to work
with diverse types of people under frequently advf'rs('
cond i tions.
Taylor also has worked in a men's furnishing store
during the Christmas season, where he gained valuabk
business information regarding consumer buying habi t.~.
