Chapter 2: EXISTING PARKING CONDITIONS<br />
At these st<strong>at</strong>ions, one exit lane accepts major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American<br />
Express, Discover, and JCB Intern<strong>at</strong>ional.<br />
Reserved <strong>parking</strong> spaces are available <strong>at</strong> all <strong>of</strong> the <strong>WMATA</strong> Metrorail st<strong>at</strong>ions studied as<br />
part <strong>of</strong> this project. Reserved <strong>parking</strong> spaces cost $55 per month in addition to the<br />
$4.50 daily fee. The spaces are reserved from 2:00 AM until 10:00 AM, Monday through<br />
Friday, except on certain Federal holidays. After 10:00 AM, the reserved spaces are<br />
made available to regular customers. A customer with a reserved <strong>parking</strong> hangtag is not<br />
required to park in a reserved space. Vehicles displaying a current reserved <strong>parking</strong><br />
hangtag may park for up to 10 days in a reserved space. Of the four <strong>WMATA</strong> metro<br />
st<strong>at</strong>ions studied, all but the Franconia/Springfield has a waiting list for reserved spaces.<br />
