Entering Traffic<br />
Chapter 2: EXISTING PARKING CONDITIONS<br />
Currently, the g<strong>at</strong>es <strong>at</strong> each <strong>of</strong> the garages/lots are open until the <strong>parking</strong> contractor<br />
arrives somewhere around 10:00 AM. Once the <strong>parking</strong><br />
contractor arrives they review the garage/lot for available<br />
spaces. If there are no spaces available, the contractor will<br />
place a “Lot Full” sign in the entrance roadway. Over the<br />
course <strong>of</strong> the day, the <strong>parking</strong> contractor will drive through the<br />
garages and lots to determine whether there are available<br />
<strong>parking</strong> spaces. If the determin<strong>at</strong>ion is made there are enough<br />
spaces available, the contractor will remove the signs until the<br />
next <strong>time</strong> the lot fills up. Drivers in the <strong>parking</strong> lot <strong>at</strong> 10:30 AM<br />
or l<strong>at</strong>er must pay to exit the <strong>parking</strong> facility. Figure 2-10 shows<br />
the entering traffic p<strong>at</strong>terns <strong>at</strong> all four st<strong>at</strong>ions <strong>com</strong>bined.<br />
Figure 2-11 shows the same <strong>inform<strong>at</strong>ion</strong> for each individual<br />
st<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
