When eddy current conductivity meters are used, this approach is normally
not possible, because they operate at one or more fixed frequencies.
Normally, these instruments are designed to give an operating point in the
region of the knee of the curve at the lowest frequency, normally 60 kHz, and
higher frequencies are used only if the material is too thin for testing at the
lowest frequency.
