6.5.2 Test reports
A formal test report may be required, but often the results are communicated to
the person responsible by other means, for example, tying an annotated
‘UNSERVICEABLE’ tag to the part, or stamping or signing documentation
pertaining to the parts tested. However, if a test report is required, it should
include at least the following information:
a) Name of the testing authority.
b) Identification of the component(s) tested.
c) Number of the product standard, if applicable.
d) Identification of the written procedure, standard, or other document to which
the testing was performed
e) Identification of the calibration standards used during the test.
f) Results of the test.
g) Date and place of test.
h) Any other information the person responsible for the parts tested requires for
assessment of test results.
i) Identification and signature of the person responsible for the test report.
