Testing Frequency:
• 200 kHz to 500 kHz
Aluminium alloys, frequencies in the range approximately 200 kHz to 500
kHz are appropriate, with approximately 200 kHz being preferred.
• 2 MHz to 6 MHz
For low conductivity materials like stainless steel, nickel alloys, and
titanium alloys, the penetration would be excessive at the above
frequencies, and higher frequencies are required. Typically 2 MHz to 6
MHz should be used.
