PURPOSE
The purpose of these instructions is to serve as a guideline to Bidder when
preparing proposal for the work described in the attached specification.
All the pages of the tender document enclosed including drawings
and this page shall form part of the tender document and shall be
signed and stamped and returned.
INTRODUCTION
The scope of work is “Piling, Civil, Structural and Architectural works” for
the “coal handling works & ash handling works” required for completion of
2 x 250 MW at BARAUNI TPS, Dist. BEGUSARAI, Bihar.
Note: The term 'Engineer' used in this tender, means the 'Engineer-incharge'
of BHEL for the particular work pertaining to the contract.
1. SCOPE OF CIVIL, ARCHITECTURAL AND STEEL STRUCTURAL WORKS
AND OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
This scope of work covers making design, engineering, preparation of
general arrangement drawings, construction as well as fabrication
drawings based on the approved GA drawings provided by system
designers, approvals from BHEL and BSEB / Consultants of BSEB’s,
incorporation and supply of "as built drawings ( for CHP alone)",
supply of all labour, materials (except structural steel and
reinforcement steel which will be supplied by BHEL on free issue
basis up to the extent as per theoretical requirement with allowable
wastages as specified elsewhere in the tender) and construction of all
civil, structural and architectural works as described below. However
detailed scope of shall be as per the Section- II of Vol- I of General
Specifications.
Any other works not mentioned above specifically but required for
completion of Part CHP & AHP also shall be executed by the
ENQUIRY No.
