vicinity of the work site as per the directions of engineer-in-charge.
The laboratory shall he equipped with latest testing equipment in
sufficient number to carry out all the tests as required under a
contract. The contractor should ensure that the equipment is
available well in advance of starting of the work to avoid stoppage
of work on this account.
All the tests shall be carried out by the contractor in the presence of
the Engineer's representative and a joint record of all observations
and results thereof shall be maintained, and available with the
Engineer.
1.7 BHEL reserves the right to split and place the order for any of
the package / packages in whatsoever manner to facilitate
the ease of handling the package and may also reject the
offer. BHEL's decision shall be final and binding on the
bidders.
1.8 Soil investigation report, reduced levels, survey reports etc.,
enclosed in the tender as a guideline. The details given are correct
to the best of the knowledge of BHEL. However it is the
responsibility and in the scope of the successful contractor to
ensure the correctness of the same and to collect any additional
information required for the work. Any changes due to the
variations in the reports provided by BHEL shall be incorporated in
the works and the quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the
above.
1.9 Detailed scope of work, specification and tender drawings are
available else wherein this tender document. Bidders shall study
these and quote accordingly for the entire civil, structural and
architectural works part wise as per BOQ enclosed.
Contractor shall execute the work within the contractual period
based on the construction drawings supplied by successful bidder
after approval by BHEL / Customers / Customers consultant which
