124. <strong>School</strong> of Enterprise Marketing<br />
The <strong>School</strong> of Enterprise Marketing (SEM) is an innovative charter<br />
school designed to prepare students for immediate employment and/or<br />
pursuit of post-secondary education in Business, Marketing and other<br />
fields. The school serves high school students in grades <strong>10</strong>-12 who are<br />
seeking more direct connections with life after high school, as well as<br />
students desirous of a non-traditional school setting. SEM is currently<br />
sited within New London High <strong>School</strong>, but students will spend a great<br />
deal of time in the local community and beyond. SEM has a partnership<br />
with EnVision New London, a Chamber of Commerce-sponsored<br />
initiative to revitalize the community.<br />

125. NR4Kids Charter <strong>School</strong><br />
The NR4Kids Charter <strong>School</strong> provides access to quality, developmentally<br />
appropriate early learning opportunities for all interested four-year-olds<br />
through community and family partnerships. Children with disabilities<br />
are served in an inclusive learning environment per IEP determination<br />
with itinerant speech and language, OT/PT, and small group tutorial<br />
services being provided at multiple sites. The <strong>School</strong> District of New<br />
Richmond increased guidance counselor and health aide staffing to<br />
provide additional support services for the NR4Kids Charter <strong>School</strong>.<br />
The NR4Kids Charter <strong>School</strong> is committed to providing an early<br />
learning program which includes:<br />

variety of educational sites in the community<br />
A nurturing environment that provides opportunities for meaningful<br />

The NR4Kids Charter <strong>School</strong> offers monthly parent education<br />
workshops, multiple opportunities for families to participate in frequent<br />
family activities and volunteer opportunities, as well as a parent resource<br />
center at each site. The parent outreach component and focus on socialemotional<br />
learning of our school is enhanced by the inclusion of a<br />
guidance counselor position specifically for NR4Kids.<br />
