V tem smo – v miljeju našega poklica – posebni. Edina še<br />
delujoča skupina enih in istih.<br />
Z Jano, fantje jo kličejo Black Mamba, je bil takoj zmenjen.<br />
– Začelo se je z eno predstavo. Zdaj jih je za nami 16.<br />
– Romantika<br />
– Romantično je morda za gledalca. Jaz romantiko iščem<br />
drugod. To, kar počnemo tu, je “orto fizikalija”.<br />
Še vztrajam pri poetiki, patetiki ...<br />
– Akrobatka<br />
– Akrobatka sem bila do sedmega razreda osnovne šole.<br />
Trenirala sem gimnastiko. Zdaj sem plesalka. Poznam draž<br />
nevarnosti. Branko vrže kost, mi zagrizemo. Koli. 6-metrske<br />
palice iz aluminija. Deske. Alpinistične vrvi.<br />
Dušan je začel v Kranju, bral je program poletne plesne šole<br />
in tam prebral nekaj stavkov o Branku.<br />
– ... je bilo drugače, nekaj več ...<br />
– Po tleh smo se metali, skakali. Vragolije. Fourklor je zame<br />
še vedno nekaj več, ker gre visoko čez osnovo, do viška<br />
sodobnega plesa, v čarno območje pure energy. Ognjeni<br />
Seba, na simpatičen način nekoliko “jezni” plesalec in<br />
performer, ki je 15 let treniral boks, se spomni, kako sta se<br />
z Brankom “skompala”.<br />
– Bila sva si podobna, prihajala sva iz športov, oba sva bila<br />
glasna žurerja in rada sva imela lepe stvari ... Tedaj sem<br />
veliko poslušal Smitse in Branko je imel frizuro kot Morisej,<br />
takoj mi je bil simpatičen ...(nasmeh).<br />
Tako sem s svojim sogovornikom že pri humorju, ki je v<br />
Fourkloru eno od najmočnejših gonil in veznih tkiv med<br />
štirimi plesalci, štirimi strastnimi osebnimi in umetniškimi<br />
pustolovščinami. Medtem ko se vrtijo na velikanskih<br />
obročih, se (včasih tudi z glavo navzdol) spuščajo po<br />
beli tkanini ... manipulirajo, drsijo, skačejo ... se šalijo. –<br />
Tempirana bomba smo, izhajamo iz življenjske, prvobitne<br />
scene. Zelo preprosto, ne moremo biti pri miru!<br />
Zračne discipline. Object Theatre. Mistika, ki zablesti<br />
nad gibom, nad cirkuško veščino. Nad rutino, treningom,<br />
spretnostjo izvajanja elementov, nad točko obvladovanja.<br />
– Mistiko narediš. In potem – zineš. Občuduješ. Ti nekaj da.<br />
Se te dotakne. Mistika je lahko tudi to, da se nekdo le pojavi<br />
na odru. Stoji, mirno, povsem mirno.<br />
– Vaš touch<br />
– Barvitost, radoživost, melanholija. En tak balkanski kotel.<br />
– Vaše zgodbe<br />
– Osebna nadgradnja. Mi raziskujemo, kreiramo, delamo<br />
– vse to vkomponiramo v zgodbe. Vsemu temu dajemo<br />
kredibilen smisel. Ljudje se v naših zgodbah, zgodbah<br />
povedanih brez besed, prepoznavajo.<br />
– Vzorniki<br />
– K nam prihajajo profesionalni gostje – “učitelji”, vrhunski<br />
artisti, Bruno Krief, Volodja Leslouin.<br />
– Nevarnost<br />
– Nihče še ni padel. Se ne sme. Se ne sme zgoditi. Varnost<br />
je na prvem mestu, naše delo ni nepremišljeno poskušanje,<br />
početje brez predznanja.<br />
Ali kot pove Duško.<br />
– Sami sebi smo tehniki. Vse sami naredimo, varujemo se s<br />
teleščki.<br />
Za hip se, v črno oblečeni, strnejo okrog nove pridobitve.<br />
Branko fingers the fabric.<br />
- We’re a bunch of weirdoes, been together since 1994. In this<br />
profession, that makes us pretty much unique. The only remaining group<br />
featuring original members that is still active.<br />
He had no problem getting Jana – the guys call her Black Mamba – to join<br />
the team.<br />
- It started with one show. Now, it’s been 16 and counting. - Romance<br />
- For the spectator, perhaps. I look for romance elsewhere. What we are<br />
doing here is physical prowess .<br />
Still, I keep hinting at poetry, melodrama…<br />
- Acrobatics<br />
- I was an acrobat until the seventh grade. I trained gymnastics. Now I<br />
am a dancer. I know all about the allure of danger. Branko throws us a<br />
bone; we grab it and run with it. Poles. Six-metre aluminium bars. Planks.<br />
Climbing ropes.<br />
Dušan started in Kranj, having read about Branko in a summer dance<br />
school programme.<br />
- … was different, something more…<br />
- We were flinging ourselves onto the floor, leaping. Mischief. To me,<br />
Fourklor is still something more because it goes way past the standard<br />
deal, all the way to the apex of modern dance, to the magical realm<br />
of pure energy.<br />
Fiery Seba, “angry” dancer/performing artist in an endearing way,<br />
who used to train boxing for 15 years, remembers how he and<br />
Branko first got together.<br />
- We were very much alike: we both had a background in sports, we both<br />
loved to party real hard and we both liked pretty things… At the time I was<br />
into The Smiths and Branko had this hairdo that was just like Morrissey’s,<br />
I took to him straight away… (smile)<br />
Humour is one of the core drivers at Fourklor, a strong tie between the<br />
four dancers, four passionate personal and creative adventures.<br />
Spinning on huge wheels, they slide down the white fabric (sometimes<br />
hanging upside down)… manipulate, glide, leap… while cracking jokes.<br />
- We’re a ticking time bomb, an expression of that, which is primal,<br />
primordial. Simply put – we cannot keep still!<br />
Object Theatre. The mystique of movement, circus acrobatics. The<br />
mystique of routine, practice, skilful performance of individual elements,<br />
control.<br />
- Mystique is something you create. And then your jaw drops. You admire<br />
it. You get something from it. It touches you. It can be created by a person<br />
just appearing on the stage. He stands. Still, completely still.<br />
- Your touch<br />
- Vibrancy, vivaciousness, melancholy. A Balkan cauldron.<br />
- And the stories…<br />
- Personal development. We do the research, we create, we produce – and<br />
it all comes out in the stories. Everything has a point, a credible purpose.<br />
The people resonate with our shows, with the stories told without words.<br />
- Role models<br />
- We get visits from fellow professionals – “masters”, top artists – Bruno<br />
Krief, Volodja Leslouin.<br />
- Risk - No one has fallen yet. That’s a no-no. It simply must not happen.<br />
Safety first. This isn’t some reckless horsing about without proper skill or<br />
preparation.<br />
Or, as Duško puts it,<br />
- We are our own technicians. We do it all ourselves, we protect ourselves<br />
with our bodies.<br />
Dressed in black, for a moment they all huddle around their brand new<br />
acquisition.<br />
