Possible remedy<br />
The paper should not be too fw from the printer (less<br />
than 1 meter/3 feet), and there should be no cables or<br />
other obstacles obstructing its path. The paper should<br />
also be feeding straight into the printer, and an angled<br />
feed may cause jams and blockages.<br />
It isrecommended to skip around the perforation. If you<br />
cannoL set on the CR-CENTERING with Memory<br />
seitch.<br />
There are limits to the thickness of paper that can be fed<br />
in this way. Try with thinner paper.<br />

You can only feed paper in this way the printer is eff-<br />

Stop printing, remove thejammed sheet (you may have<br />
to rcmove the ASF for this), and continue.<br />
If the left and right guides are too close together, the<br />
paper will not feed smoothly. Move them a little further<br />
armrt to allow the Dauerto feed freelv.<br />
The ASF’S paper feed hopper and stacker can hold<br />
between 100to 150 sheets each. Make sure that there is<br />
no more paper than this in either the hopper or stacker.<br />
If this is not done, paper jams may occur. Remove the<br />
stack of paper from the ASF and fan it before<br />
reinserting.<br />
Only new, uncreased paper should be used with the<br />
ASF.<br />
There arc limits to the thickness of paper that can be fed<br />
in this way. Try with different paper.
