Okrem manipulácie s veľkými kontajnermi (20“ a 40“) sa cez TKD Dobrá
môžu prepravovať aj celé nákladné automobily, a to v košových vozňoch radu
Sdgnss. Tieto vozne sa v apríli tohto roku použili aj na prepravu manipulačných
prostriedkov UDS po normálnom rozchode do stanice Čop, kde sa mechanizmy
preložili a putovali na Ďaleký Východ.
Apart from manipulation with large containers (20” and 40“), the entire
lorries can be transported via CTT Dobrá and that in the basket wagons of
Sdgnss series. In April this year, these wagons were used for transportation of
manipulation mechanisms – UDS hydraulic excavators – by normal gauge to
the station Chop where they were transhipped and dispatched to Far East.
Crossing Čierna – Solomonovo
Anticipated and already approved opening of the international road
border crossing Čierna – Solomonovo for passenger and freight
road transport is of huge importance for CTT Dobrá, east Slovakia
region and for the entire Slovak Republic, particularly after the entry
into Schengen area. On October 11, 2007, the representatives of
the Slovak Republic government and Ukrainian government signed
the agreement on construction of road border crossing Čierna –
Solomonovo stating that the crossing will have been built by the year
2011. Its importance results from the following:
1. Anticipated road crossing is located 11 kilometres from CTT Dobrá
and there is a real opportunity to use CTT for manipulation with UTI
from and to the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States
as well as transportation of road sets in RoLa transport system on
the Slovak territory (legal break of the drivers) . The 11 km distance
is suitable for realization of distributions and collections of large
containers to Ukraine up to 100 km distance.
2. Opening of the crossing will help the region, since the terminal
completion will activate needs for other constructions and services –
parking, catering and accommodation services.
3. It will disburden the road border crossing Vyšné Nemecké and at
the same time, it will create an alternative for freight transport, in case
of possible emergency in Vyšné Nemecké.
In the future, depending on the terminal performances and customer
requirements, apart from carriage, transportation, manipulation and
storage performances, it will be possible to complete a tertiary sphere
of services. Business entities can cooperate by co-investment when
providing the complex structure of the European standard services.
