Ako povedal člen Predstavenstva a riaditeľ úseku obchodu ZSSK
CARGO Ing.
služby hlavne z oblasti zasielateľskej a dopravnej. Bolo tu možné stretnúť
sa aj so spoločnosťami, ktoré sú výrobcami koľajových vozidiel
a taktiež spoločnosťami obchodujúcimi s rôznym tovarom - producentmi,
spotrebiteľmi, obchodnými spoločnosťami, - vymenúva Ing.
Ján Simčo.
Medzi top vystavovateľmi boli aj samotné ruské železnice (RŽD), ktoré
zažívajú v posledných rokoch boom a majú ďalšie ambiciózne plány
výstavba železničnej infraštruktúry i nedostatok určitých typov vozňov
– pridáva postrehy z výstavy riaditeľ úseku obchodu Ing. Ján Simčo.
exhibition visitors stopped by. The most frequently asked questions from
the potential customers were related to transhipment possibilities and
bogie change in border crossing stations, execution of transportation
(intermodal transport in particular) west – east in transit via Slovakia,
cooperation possibilities and organization of transportations with CIM/
SMGS consignment note (application of common consignment note) or
experiences from transportations of dangerous goods. When meeting
the regular customers, the most frequently asked questions were related
to prices of block trains, single wagon shipments, possibilities of further
new transportations routing east – west, possibilities of volume increase
in intermodal transport as well as quality of block trains operation and
other.
In the course of exhibition, apart from official negotiations, the
representatives of Trade Division attended tens of informal meetings
with business partners, carriers, forwarders and operators from the
whole Europe. They participated in opening ceremony of the exposition
of company ČD Cargo (Czech Railways Cargo), PKP (Polish Railways),
Russian Railways, Belarusian Railways, Kazakh Railways and RCA.
As confirmed by a member of the Board of Directors and ZSSK CARGO
Trade Division Director Ing. Ján Šimčo, he was pleasantly surprised by the
high level of exhibition Transrussia 2008. According to him, it is obvious
that demand for logistic services and provision of transportation and
transport services in the markets east from our border is dynamically
increasing. – There is no doubt that the increasing demand is caused,
in particular, by Russian economy growth and growth of metallurgical
industry in the world, which requires material feed. I was pleasantly
surprised by number of companies participating in the exhibition that
Transrussia 2008
A number of business meetings may indicate that participation in the
exhibition will lead to concrete results of involvement in perspective
transportations east – west
Železničná spoločnosť Cargo Slovakia, a. s., took part in the 13th
international exhibition Transrussia 2008 in Moscow, held in April
22-25, focusing on transport and logistics in Russia, former Soviet and
Baltic countries. National and international companies, operating in rail
and road transport, participated in this exhibition.
This year, at the exhibition Transrussia 2008, 525 exhibitors from
29 countries took part and 18 200 visitors from many parts of the
world visited the exhibition. The exhibition was held in the premises of
Expocentr in Moscow.
Exposition of ZSSK CARGO was 50 m 2 large and had corporate colours.
Open space, glass panels with illustration photo of a wagon or active
map with identification of Slovakia, contributed to lively image about
our company. ZSSK CARGO presentation was supported by a number
of promotion materials made specifically for the exhibition´s purposes
in Russian language, and by DVD and a new magazine for business
partners. The meetings were conducted by top managers of the company
as well as by business representatives. ZSSK CARGO effectively
cooperates with other European carriers and continuously monitors
trends in rail freight transport, and therefore this form of participation in
international exhibitions takes an important position in communication
of the company. From participation in exhibition Transrussia 2008, the
company expected an increase of share in perspective transportations
in direction east – west. Currently, it is not possible to make any
conclusions, to what extent we have succeeded, however a huge interest
in the expositions and a number of business meetings may indicate that
participation in the exhibition will lead to concrete results.
One can positively assess the number of stand visitors, since tens of
provide service mainly in the area of shipping and transport. It was also
possible to come across the companies, which produce rolling stock
as well as companies, which trade with various goods – producers,
consumers, commercial companies, - says Ing. Ján Simčo.
Top exhibitors included also Russian railways (RŽD), which have
recently experienced a booming period and are having other ambitious
development plans reckoning on private capital support. – It was
also a surprise to me that in this dynamically liberalizing market of
freight transport in Russia, there are more than one hundred private
carriers operating. Directly in the exhibition premises and in its panel
discussions, the most resonating and discussed topics included
the topics on increasing importance of cooperation between ports
and railways, construction of assembly automotive plants in Russia,
massive construction of railway infrastructure and lack of certain types
of wagons – adds his opinions of the exhibition Ing. Ján Simčo - Trade
Division Director.
